Background

Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) is a non- profit research and training institute whose mission is to develop and sustain a district-based health research and source and resource centre capable 01 generating new knowledge and relevant information for public health policy and actions. IHI is among the leading health research institutes in Africa.

In its research site in Ifakara, Morogoro Region , IHI together with the Swiss Tropical Institute and the Saint Francis Referral Hospital, runs a clinical HIV cohort (KIULARCO), which serves as a clinical, training and research platform. IHI invites applications from interested, suitable and qualified Tanzanians to join the medical team for the above platform at Ifakara site.

Position Summary

The required researcher will be required to provide HIV care according to \he NACP guidelines both at the outpatient and inpatient levels, participate in the ruling out and development 01 research activities conduct within KIULARCO, and disseminate research finding through scientific publications and national and international HIV conferences.
