PCI is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing disease, improving community health, and promoting sustainable development worldwide. PCI Tanzania is concluding the initial phase of Food for Education (FFE) three years program in Mara region. In partnership with Bunda and Musoma Rural District Councils, and with support from the United States Department of Agriculture


(USDA), PCI will implement an expanded, follow-on 3-year program (2013-2016).
Job Title:M&E Officer
This position will develop and oversee implementation of monitoring and evaluation plan, including systems and tools for data collection, analysis, verification and reporting, in collaboration with program staff and relevant stakeholders. To provide regular feedback on 'progress against targets to inform achieve intended program outputs and outcomes. To build capacity of program staff and stakeholders to implement M&E activities and integrate timely and accurate project data to enhance program planning and decision making.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of monitoring and evaluation experience.
  • Strong understanding and up-to-date technical knowledge of best practices in monitoring and evaluation. Knowledge and experience in mobile phone technology platforms preferred,
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work independently and meet deadlines; Strong computer skills (MS Office);
  • Excellent English skills (verbal and written)

Job Title:Procurement Officer (One Post)

This position will provide oversight and management of the procurement for the country office through timely planning, application of donor and PCI policies in acquisition of reliable, cost-effective, high quality products and services for the successful achievement of program.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Logistics & procurement management or Advanced Diploma in Materials Management or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (BBA)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement management with an international non-governmental organization.
  • Certificate recognized by the professional materials management governing body (NBMM) and certificate in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • High level of individual initiative, planning and good judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to make judgment and decision with respect to procurement within delegated authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Thorough knowledge of USG federal rules and regulations related to procurement. Personal integrity and excellent communication skills

Concentration, accuracy and attention to details are required.
